Award History
How does the Award process work?
 
 
Members of the public are invited to nominate individuals or teams who have excelled in their fields of expertise as well as contributed back to the society.
An expert panel, which comprises of a team of industry experts, makes the final selection.
Award recipients are announced at a Media Conference in late June. Recipients receive their Awards at the Presentation Ceremony held on the first Sunday of July.
 


When do nominations open and close?
 
 
Nominations open in November annually and close in the month of January of the following year. The exact opening and closing dates would be announced closer to the period.
 


Who can nominate?
 
 
Any member of the public can submit nominations.
 


How do I nominate?
 
 
To nominate, you simply need to complete and submit the online nomination form at www.sya.sg.
 


Who is eligible to be nominated?
 
 
Any Singapore Citizen or Permanent Reside (of five years or more) aged 35 years old and below as of 1 January for the year of the Award or any team which has been in existence for at least five consecutive years. Please visit “eligibility page” for more details.
 


How can I check if my nomination has been received?
 
 
Once the completed nomination form has been received, you will receive an appreciation letter for your participation. If you have not, please:

• Check that you have completed all required information in the nomination form.
• Check that you have clicked the ‘Submit’ button.
• Check that your nominator has endorsed your nomination.
