The Commonwealth heads of states meeting in Ottawa endorsed the Commonwealth Youth Services Awards (CYSA) scheme.
To participate in the CYSA scheme, the Singapore cabinet established a National Youth Service Awards (NYSA) scheme with five categories – Community Development / Youth Services, Science and Technology, Art and Culture, Sports and any other field of human endeavour; and Deeds of Bravery. |
