Nominate Someone

Nominee must be Singapore citizens or permanent residents of five years and longer.

Nominee should be 35 years old and below as of 1 January 2012.

Nominee must be of good character.

The achievements and community involvement of nominees must total at least three years, which includes at least two years of personal achievements and two years of community involvement.

For teams, the majority of the members (60% of team or more) should meet all the above criteria.

Teams should be in existence for at least five consecutive years.

Nominee's achievements may be in the course of their work, an extension of their work or an extra-curricular activity.

For the Medal of Commendation, the nominee's achievements and contributions after the Award should supersede and surpass previous accomplishments and contributions for which the Award was conferred.

Individual nominees for the Medal of Commendation should be 45 years and below as of 1 January 2012.

At least five years must have transpired after the nominee's Award conferment.
