Nominees MUST BE PAST SYA AWARDEES, who have continued to attain significantly higher levels of achievement
and contribution to society for at least 5 years after their Award, to be considered for the Medal of Commendation.

All nominations can only be made and submitted online through www.sya.sg.
Nominees need to create a user account to start filling in their nomination details online.
There is NO HARDCOPY NOMINATION FORM available.

For individual nomination, the nominee and the nominator have to be two different individuals.
For team nomination, the nominator has to be someone not part of the core team.

After the nomination period closes, all duly endorsed and completed nomination forms will be sorted and
submitted to the selection committee for each category for evaluation.
It will take place from February to middle of May. Shortlisted nominees may be requested
to attend an interview with the selection committee.
All nominees will be informed via letter of the result of their nomination by early June.

Once nomination is submitted, your nominee will be notified by a system-generated email of the nomination
and be requested to log on to www.sya.sg to open a user account and complete the nomination form.
